Angler Information 

“How It Works”

 

There are Four (4) ways to sponsor a boat or enter your own boat.

Platinum Entry – The best way to entertain clients or fish your team on one boat. These boats normally range from 26’ – 40’ and can comfortably fish four (4) anglers.

  • Your team will be paired with a professional guide or local captain who donates his/her boat, time, equipment, and knowledge for the day.
  • Teams are matched by fishing style and size to a captain and his/her boat.
  • This donation levels include up to 4 anglers. Donation -$3,000 USD – includes up To 4 Angler entries and amenities*

 

Light Tackle Platinum – Usually Light Tackle anglers, either Fly or Spin, choose this entry, which includes boats from 18’ – 25’.

  • Your team will be paired with a professional guide or local captain who donates his/her boat, time, equipment, and knowledge for the day.
  • This team entry is limited to two (2) anglers.
  • Additional anglers MAY be added for an additional donation, subject to captain’s discretion, on a per boat basis. Donation – $2000 USD – includes Up To 2 Platinum Angler Entries & Amenities. *Subject to Availability (pre-arranged only!)

 

Sportfish Division – Private boaters enter their own boat into a special division.

  • Private anglers fish their own boat and team to compete against similarly entered boats.
  • This donation levels includes up to three (3) people total on the boat. This is any combination of captains, mates, fishing and non-fishing persons on the boat. Donation – $1500 USD – includes Up To 3 anglers & amenities. Additional Anglers May Be Added for $500.00 USD per Angler*

Warrior Entry – The Manhattan Cup is the original tournament associated with “Fishing As A Force For Good” and has provided veterans a day on the water and surrounded them with people who truly appreciate their service & sacrifice. These boats normally range from 26’ – 40’ and can comfortably fish four (4) anglers.

  • This sponsorship will treat Four (4) Veterans to a special day of fishing, comradery and fun as your guest (whether you can be present or not).
  • This donation can literally save a life. Donation -$3,000 USD – includes up To 4 Angler entries and amenities*

Support a Single Warrior – Donation $750 US

  • Awards Dinner & Party, Music, Drinks & Fish Stories @ Liberty House Restaurant immediately following boat return.

Important – All entrants must be per-registered and pre-paid. All entries are for ONLY the number of anglers specified.
