SpongeTech to sponsor 11th annual FCA Manhattan Cup
The Fishermen's Conservation Association (FCA) has announced that SpongeTech, "America's Cleaning Company" has been named the exclusive title sponsor of the 11th Annual Manhattan Cup "catch and release" charity fishing tournament in New York City.Steve Leberman, director of Sales and Marketing at SpongeTech, said, "they were thrilled to pair up with the FCA at their flagship charity fishing event". The Manhattan Cup has become the largest one-day in-shore tournament in the Northeast. Approximately 50 professional fishing guides provide their boats and expertise to individual teams competing for the largest striped bass, bluefish and weakfish among three categories (fly, artificial and bait). This year will also mark the second year in a row that the tournament will feature a "Live Release Division" proving once again that Striped Bass can be weighed in and released alive to fight and spawn again.As title sponsor of the 11th annual Manhattan Cup, Sponge Tech, has the unique opportunity to showcase "Americas Cleaning Company" to scores of the best captains and guides in the northeast, as well as to create and sustain new relationships with thousands of anglers, families, participants and supporters.
This yea's event is May 15, 2009.
